Olson has always been a fan of racing. But it was only 3 years ago that he decided to buy his first kart. He competed in only 2 races that year. The 2020 season was his first real karting season competing in 23 races. Olson claimed his first pole position and many podiums that year. He finished 3rd, 4th and 38th in that years championships. Olson went in to the 2021 season with high expectations. Unfortunately an arm fracture would end his championship hopes in a crash in the first race of the season. As if the broken arm wasn’t enough, he also had rib inflammation.
While his arm and ribs were recovering he started with sim racing, driving with only one hand. Olson managed to win a lot of races online but the long wait until he could race in real life was tough. When I finally got back to karting there was only a few races left before the season would end. After a return in August he won Kart Cup Väst and finished 13th in SKCC. Grande finale was the last race of the season and he managed to claim p2 in the final. Olson’s father and grandfather were both famous Swedish guitarists, now he has to make a name for himself in motorsport.
